The place was empty on the Thursday night we went in, but it was 10pm. However we were very surprised at how good the food was, everything was very freshly made, lots of flavour and the service was excellent. I think we discovered a little gem in the place. The decor could do with any update, but otherwise can’t fault the place. Would definitely go back.

Absolutely unreal food. My partner and I went on Friday night. The staff were amazing and so friendly; nothing was a problem for them, from topping up drinks to getting extra plates. These guys are the best. Reasonably priced, so it's an all-around great place to go.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent , Chicken Biryani with a vegetable sauce (made madras hot on request) Mutton Karhkri and a lovely Garlic and Corriander naan. We enjoyed the food and restaurant atmosphere so much, we went back the following evening. By far one of the best Indian Restaurants we've eaten in .

Good value, high quality authentic recipes. Attentive staff, with the owner ensuring everyone is happy with their meals. Tasting a biriani and a vindaloo, they were perfectly spicy, I would expect the same flavours in India. There was no need to book, but this was a Sunday at 7pm.

Had a couple of hours to kill in Newcastle and found this curry house hidden away in a side street. Friendly and efficient staff. Cobra beer on draft. Ordered a couple of kebab starters followed by a butter chicken tikka and a house special curry. Both very good and will be going again next time we are in Newcastle.

Decided to check this place out after reading the reviews on trip advisor and also go with my gut instinct.... I wasn’t disappointed! Warm friendly welcome and shown straight to my seat which I booked while in the car driving there. Menu was extensive and interesting with all the classics and some interesting concepts I haven’t seen before. Didn’t have to wait long for my food to arrive, onions bhajis were superb, sweet n savoury, soft in the centre, crunchy and spiky on the outside. My main course Chicken Tikka was succulent and punched a very aromatic flavour, pershwari Naan cooked in the Tandoor was soft and undulating with lovely crisp characteristics around the edge. Pilau rice was perfectly cooked, vibrant herbs with contrasts of different coloured rices. The owner and his sons are exceptionally friendly and made a great fuss as it was my first time. I can highly recommend this atmospheric restaurant to anyone and I for one will be back. Food, service, ambience and V for M 10/10 Sanji, Elisha and all the team are a credit

Been here a couple times and tried the vegan spinach curry and vegetable samosas. The food is unreal and they have big portions (you can definitely share one curry and rice between 2 people plus starter). I recommend this restaurant, they have good service and I will keep coming here.
